Creating Calm: Anxiety Group For Women

A Four-Week Expressive Arts Group for Women Experiencing Anxiety,
Using Simple Art, Reflection, and Conversation to Help Ease Stress

This group recently wrapped up, and we plan to offering it again.

What to Expect:

Each 90-Minute Session Includes:
  • Grounding or Relaxation Practice
We begin with a brief grounding or calming exercise, so you can learn strategies to increase your ability to step back from anxiety.
  • Understanding Anxiety
Each week includes simple education about anxiety-how it shows up in the body and nervous system, and what can help when it does.
  • Guided Expressive Art Activity
You'll be invited into a creative process that connects with the week's theme and supports regulation, reflection, and self-awareness. No art experience is needed.
  • Optional Reflection and Sharing
There is time to share your art (if you choose), what you learnt, or simply listen. Participate in any way that feel comfortable to you.
